We built McQuade Construction Group around three trades that most Louisville homeowners eventually need — and most contractors do badly. Foundations that fail in the wet seasons. Kitchens and baths that get pulled apart and put back together with shortcuts. Basements that sit unfinished for a decade because nobody can imagine what they could become.

We do all three. Under one name. With the same crew you met on the estimate showing up the day work begins. Our foundation division stops water; our kitchen and bath division builds rooms we'd be proud of in twenty years; our basements division turns the most overlooked third of your house into the one room people remember.

Most of our foundation work carries a 25-year transferable warranty. Most of our remodel projects finish within the schedule we wrote on day one. All of it gets a final walkthrough with a founder before we leave.

Selected work

Cherokee Triangle — a 1908 home, returned.

A three-story Victorian with sixty years of patches in the foundation, a kitchen that had been renovated badly twice, and a basement nobody had set foot in since the Carter administration. We took all three. Twelve weeks, three crews, one final walkthrough.

How we work

No surprises.
Just a schedule we keep.

Every project — a leaking foundation or a full gut remodel — moves through the same four phases. You see them on day one. You see them again on the final walkthrough.

Phase 01

We come look

A founder visits the property within a week. We look at what's there, ask what you want, and tell you what we'd do. No charge, no obligation.

Phase 02

A written proposal

Scope, materials, schedule, line-item pricing. Plain English. Specific dates, not 'within X weeks.' Signed by both of us before any work begins.

Phase 03

We build

The same crew start to finish. A project manager you can text. Photos sent weekly. The site cleaned at the end of every day.

Phase 04

A final walkthrough

A founder walks every inch of the work with you before you write the final check. If something is off, we fix it that week.
